Adventures Taken, Lessons Learned Part 1

Aloha!

I know it's been a while, but there are a lot of things that have happened in the past couple months that there's no better way to let you know what has been going on except through some pics!

Here are a couple pics of our Anniversary in February!

This first pic was at a Jazz game to which my beautiful wife, Heidi, surprised me with! We got to see Karl Malone, John Stockton, Jerry Sloan, and Thurl Bailey!

Here's us at the game!

That night we went out for dinner at...the one and only Cheesecake Factory!! This picture is of their miso salmon that I had. Ahhh! It was SOOOO delicious! Definitely worth the 12 dollars or whatever I paid for it! lol

Just some anniversary cheesecake!

This is a picture of my three favorite women in the whole entire world! My grandma recently passed away, which was really hard, but it's all part of the plan right? :)

This is just some decorations for our "baby revealing party," or whatever you call it. haha. We're having a boy!! So excited! Due July 4th, 2014!

Just some cookies from the party!

We made pretzels for the first time ever! (Well, Heidi did.) There were so good!

Just me and the family members gathering around to eat, little did we know at the time, the last dinner we would have with my grandma. So good to have family together, no matter the reason! It just shows that we have family!

This is on our way to Hawaii the first time for my grandma's funeral. Me, Heidi, and my sister Pomai.

Anyone from HI recognize this?! Yup! Got me some Zippy's! Love this place. They seriously need to get one here in Idaho. hahaha.

Morning run and swim at Sandys on Oahu.

My aunties threw a surprise baby shower for my wife! It was so nice of them! Thank you aunties!

Mission reunion! President Cotterell and Sister Cotterell will be heading to New Zealand in July! So excited for them and wish we could go of course!

Okay, so this was cool! We got to sit in first class when we went to Hawaii a second time. Never flown in first class before! #neverflyingotherwiseagain #ignoremypouchthereinthefront #lol

Hahaha. Heidi wanted to take a picture of the milk prices in Hawaii. They're just a little higher than Idaho's.

So, this was the reason we flew to Hawaii again. My grandma's house needs remodeled, so we went back over to help my parents. We tore up almost all of the floor throughout the house, replaced the floor, sinks, and toilets in both bathrooms, and one window. Just the start of it all!

Just another day at the beach!

In Hawaii, we call these Hawaiian Easter Eggs! lol. These are called Manapua. It's just like a big roll with meat inside! So good!

Me doing some grilling! My auntie makes the BEST shrimp!

Anyways, that's all for now! We've had some crazy adventures and lots of lessons that we've learned over the past few months. Well, when I say "we" have learned lots of lessons, I mostly mean me. Not because Heidi didn't learn anything, but because I've had my share of challenges throughout this time. My grandma passing away, especially. However, I'm through it and know more now that I know what I know...and I know it! More explanation to come next!

Aloha everyone!
